'A Part of America Died...'

Thinking back, life was so much better before reagan showed up, economically, fiscally, communally. Ever since then our country has been dying a little more each day. The militarization of law enforcement is just one more example

up until the 60's, and often beyond? Does the name Pinkerton ring a bell from history lessons?

I'm sure you've heard of Sheriff Arpaio, but do you know who Bull Connor was? (Makes Arpaio look like a bloody hero.)

Do you know why Philadelphia is sometimes known as "The City that Bombed Itself"?

Reagan did help the expansion of militarized police, but 9-11 pushed it even more with money yanked from food programs shoved into buying tanks and cannons for cops.

It's not good now, but it has been worse. And if we work on i, it will cycle back to better.

it's always a cycle-- and the best we can hope for is maybe only one step back for every three forward.

When it's three back and we might not be allowed to go forward, that's different.

If nothing is ever fixed then, overall, there's no progress for the human race at all.

You could be right about that, but it would make life pointless.
