How are guys treated in the porn industry?

I know somewhat about that, I used to know a guy who worked lighting for a couple porn studios during the 80's.

He said one guy really stuck out (pun not intended, wait a minute, pun very much intended,) in his memory, John Holmes.

My friend said Holmes was rather dumb. But he had that big schwanz, that was his gimmick.
But Holmes was also a huge cocaine addict, ended up in jail as a result of some cocaine-based murders.
Eventually Holmes died of AIDS he got from hustling gay sex to feed his habit.

Ron Jeremy's gimmick was how simply UGLY he was!
(Even he admitted it to an interviewer.)

in movies that play on the worst racial stereotypes about black male sexuality, and most of the women in the industry are open about their refusal to "work" with them because it supposedly lowers their value in the eyes of non-black porn fans.

4. I was going by a biography that was on the "E!" channel.

They said in the last few years before he died, Holmes was hustling in Los Angeles gay bars, while AIDS was more prevalent in the gay bars of San Francisco, LA had plenty as well.
