I was never like that when I was younger. Even into my early 50s.

I have a hard time finding this funny, as I've done some dangerous things while in the midst of these brain-farts...like leaving the burner on the gas stove going.

That scares me the most.


And when you live with someone else who has the same problem, things can go downhill pretty fast when one person accuses the other one of taking something, nobody knows how this or that item got thrown away, etc.

It makes me very sad, although I know there's not much that can be done about it.

You Google something you need for your job, and sure enough, one of the hits reminds you of something else that could also be useful for another project. And from there on your day is gone, you are very tired in the end, but achieved not so much you can show for.

There are a lot of moments in my day like this. I get sidetracked easily. Not being able to find my keys is commonplace for me. Half the time I find out Mr Pip has taken them and used them to do something and then puts them someplace else or worse, has them in his pocket.
