Do you think one of these times that Lib/prog could try taking over a tea party event?

Operation American Spring... Touted as having 10-30 million people come any taken over DC. Obviously, that wasn't going to happen, there really isn't that many crazed loons in the country, they all just have about 10 different handles they post with on msg boards.

But, what if we used their Koch Bro paid event, with lots of media attention, to take it over and beat them at their own game. Now, obviously there would have to be a bit of stealth to this, since showing up with "Save insert cause" t-shirts and poster signs with liberal msgs on it right away would turn the cameras off and away from airing. However, if we kind of dressed like "patriots", and had a fake sign over a real sign, perhaps we a mass unfurloughing when cameras are all live, could have an effect... And perhaps, staying it out in those paid for Koch mobiles for a week, could get a msg across.

I just keep thinking how epic it would have been to have seen, maybe 50,000 show up and only 30 of them actually be tea party idiots, but the rest of them us, and have "reveal" time to see who's who, with signs that say "Min wage = Living wage", Expand Health care services, pass an infrastructure bill and create American jobs", and "Kick out Carbon Habit; Do It Like We Were Racing To the MOON"... You know the signs that are spelled right and many do agree with.

I just wonder if we stopped laughing at them long enough to make use of the Koch Bros money that they put out for these events (permits, porta potties, big ole bus transportation, venue space, stage and audio set up, and media attention), to take over one of these events and perhaps get some response from our politicians. Imagine we had a ton of lib/ progressives out for one of these staged events.. Trolling in tea party drag... And the likes of Cruz, Palin, Boehner, etc step up to the stage and find a sea of discontent starring back at them when the real msgs on the signs are revealed.

It could be interesting to see them having to look at real Americans demanding real action from their backwards asses. Not sure it could happen, but would be a great thing to see happen!

Sure. A few thousand of us and the two dozen of them would be gone, but Fox would still be there! Scuba May 2014 #2

That's provoking a confrontation where folks could get hurt. Let them have their say, it's their right, just as it is ours.
