In response to Keith's dismissal, at least I can still watch RT...
When Keith got the Current gig I was overjoyed.. The only problem was Current was on the higher cable/satellite tier, and I had to cut expenses like so many of us. Having only clips on the Current/Olbermann web site--or grainy entire shows on the net was frustrating.
Then I found RT--Russia Today was on the CHEAPEST Dish tier. RT has the awesome Alyona Show, Lauren Lyster, Thom Hartman's Big Picture, intellligent US based correspondents and documentaries and more. The news doesn't have that America as the center of the universe attitude. I have become a devoted viewer of RT--in part because it gave me what I had hoped to get out of Current..a "no bull" progressive perspective. If you miss a show, NO PROBLEM, you can see it online anytime... not all of us can afford the extra few dollars for a DVR.
If I could have watched Keith easily I would have.. but RT has been good consolation in his absence.
