They think they can blame Obama and win the election that way. When I look at Obama now, the way they disrespect him and all, I see Trayvon.

They don't explain why that would be of benefit to Obama though. It must be just their general fear that blacks will be taking over. Or that a black President must be the President of only black people. Just their racism, as usual.

2. Many Still Live In Another Decade...

Some in the 80s others in the 50s and even others in the 1850s. The wingnut view is of the "glory days" of Ozzie & Harriet where a women knew her place (barefoot and preggers and obedient) and minorities knew their place. It was the dream world where Raygun "won" the Cold War and cut taxes. All the ills of the world came from the "outsiders"...and President Obama symbolizes the ultimate outsider. Other than he "doesn't look" like "us" (translation: he's black), he doesn't have a name "like us" and surely is some evil Manchurian candidate planted by the socialists/islamistists/commies/tree huggers (pick your nemesis). The rushpublicans play on this "he isn't one of us" memes and we'll see more and more of it.

Earlier I heard a report that Millard's negatives are so high that the only way he stands a chance to win is to bring down President Obama's popularity. The best way is to bring up all those stereotypes and irrational fears that motivate the rushpublican base and hope that through shear noise and billions in Rove/Koch/SuperPac spending they can make people vote against their best interests.

3. They want anything that will impact Obama negatively.

It fits in with their stated agenda. Remember Limbaugh said he wants Obama to fail even before Obama was inaugurated. And Limbaugh is their de facto leader. Their record of obstructionism is there for the world to see but Obama still makes progress anyway. Those losers just can't seem to do anything right.

republican candidate.
Romney could use it in many circles to show why the 99% is incapable of advancing themselves. Quotes like 'you can't fight you're way off welfare', or 'civil unrest is the reason their is no job growth'.
As to St.santorum; the possibilities are unlimited. The country's morals are lost! If we had a more religious life stile! This is all because we tolerate such immoral behavior as birth control!
And endless propaganda about illegal immigrants, planned parenthood and of course dog whistles about the dreaded Bla... people.
And of course we ALL know why this mess is happening...
