Now that Ed Schultz is leaving radio and Thom Hartmann is moving up to the noon-3 ET tmeslot, progressive talk radio stations now are left scrambling for an afternoon drive 3-6 ET show since Randi Rhodes has also retired. I say it's about time John Fugelsang, who has regularly guest hosted Stephanie Miller's show and has various experience on radio and TV, should sign with a syndicator ASAP. He's young and has sharp, witty, put-this-on-a-Facebook-meme takes on the issues of the day.
(Thom Hartmann broadcast in the noon-3 daypart - the same one as Rush Limbaugh - for nearly 9 years before moving to 3-6p in 2012.)

(5,180 posts)I think he could get an hour on MSNBC. I really liked his show on Current. His 'My View' segment at the end of each show was the closest thing to Keith Olbermann's Special Comments I have seen anywhere. I'd like him to get a shot in Chris Hayes' slot.
I sure am glad Thom is moving 'home' to Noon-3pm. I have a second shift job that I like, and I go to work at 4pm ET. I was missing most of Thom.
