When it comes to natural disasters where people lose everything I feel really bad about that. But based on how the GOP and republicans are planning to treat the most vulnerable with the Ryan budget and how they are treating the memory of Tayvon Martin, I am getting to the point that I do not care how many republicans are drowned, blown away or get sick. Republicans rail about taxes, support taking public workers pensions and jobs including the police, firefighters and veterans. Their base is willing to let people die without insurance, let people die with potentially treatable diseases because they will end stem cell research, want to jail or kill homosexuals (which is what they really wish) and allow women to die of unsafe abortions because they will kill family planning in the US and make using contraceptives a crime..
The creeps are cruel, sadistic, mean, predatory, selfish, hateful, racist, bigoted, self absorbed murderous, loudmouthed, pompous, phoney and mentally sick little maggots. They seem to thrive on others misery and suffering. The even seem to take great joy in such things.
The rest of us real Americans can only take so much. So I am losing sympathy and when I see one of these knuckle dragging republicans crying because they almost got their butt wiped away by an F5 tornado. I will never take joy in such a catastrophe, but I may not care to help any more. I might just give them a shovel and a saw and say fix it yourself. You will get no help from me and the government you hate is not there for you now.

(4,249 posts)Your second paragraph is the most accurate and comprehensive description of Republicans I have yet read.
Congratulations.

(28,158 posts)Proof of how a person votes before we feel compassion? How would that work? We segregate the 60% Republican population off to die and only offer assistance to the remaining 40%? Or whatever the ratio.
That sounds a lot like how Republicans think to me.

(8,994 posts)Cut them off from the Government tit and let them fend for themselves in tornado alley. They want it for us, they should try it for themselves first. Lead by example.

Just a thought.
I can't help but think it / do it myself, some days, but I try.

(3,174 posts)That's the humane thing to do. Make it clear that their politics and their positions on help for others prevent them from being helped without being hypocrites. Make it clear that hypocrisy is as contemptible as being a republican in the first place and make them choose. The draconian recover themselves with only assistance from friends and family and hold on to ridiculous positions, or become a member of the human race and agree that assistance from others is required for a peaceful sane life, and that it costs money to achieve.

(14 posts)It pisses me off when people forget all the evil things they have done and send condolences when something bad happens to their family.
Well, I don't give a shit when bad things happen to them.
Do they give a shit when bad things happen to poor people?? When a poor family has someone lying in pain and dying of cancer without insurance?
