It sounds like a full-employment program for shrinks.

Anyway, I've often said the NRA could really be a big help in identifying the dangerously unstable members of our society. All they'd have to do is disclose their membership list.

There were a lot of problems with it, but on the other hand, when that ceased we ended up putting delusional people in charge of their own healthcare decisions, which many of them were incapable of making. Many became homeless, many chose not to take their medications, many committed suicide, and some others--many fewer--became dangerous to others. There probably ought to be some way to have severely mentally ill people hospitalized, even if it is against their will.
