I don't have much to say through the tears at the passing of this phenomenal woman. All I know is that I want to wallow in her words of wisdom and mourn the loss of a great soul on this earth.

1. I met her here in Jamaica

One day I'll post that story - it was more than a meeting - I was involved in the planning of the cultural event at a conference and she was the final performer.

4. "There I go!" The one time I was privileged to meet and dine with Ms. Angelou, she granted a

wish to a young girl--at the end of the meal, she stood and honored us with And Still I Rise.

She ended it with these three words: "There I go!"

I am forever grateful to her.
