2. I disagree, they'll vote for any republican, they don't care.

Unless that region is different from others, he's still got a chance to stay there and make trouble.

3. Our region's not that different but he slipped thru the '10primaries thru some weird circumstances.

He was never very popular and he's since alienated a lot of voters with his wacky personal stuff and antagonistic townhall meetings. Duckworth has a really good chance.

4. I hope so. Didn't she run in another race and not get it... Was it in 2010?

Sorry to not be up to date on that area.

It's just that I expect whoever voted for him the last time, even after the dirt on him came out, will vote for him again. That's why I say they don't care.

I can't begin to say how creepy and disgusting the impression of him back then was, and he hasn't changed bit... In fact he's worse than before!

Good luck with getting rid of this... individual...

5. Rahm thrust her into the 2008 race for the IL 6th.

I was in the 6th at the time and now I've been redistricted into the 8th. At least this time Duckworth actually lives in the district she's running in.

I think the last time out there was some lack of enthusiasm for her since she was out of the district (slightly) and she (via Rahm) muscled out Christine Cegelis who had run the last couple times against Henry Hyde and scared him in 2006, after which he retired. Cegelis was a local who was very into working the grass roots scene here. Still is, last I checked.

6. I wonder if the veterans there have given her endorsements and are working for her.

It seems that they, especially the younger veterans, would be very angry at the way Walsh has acted. Of course it's no wonder why the guy is divorced. I could use a bit of colorful language but I'll refrain.

To me, he's about the worst example of a man there is; although plenty of teabagger and dittoheads are in the same mold. I really want to see this country take a turn back to some sanity and decency in the way we treat each other, because this is disgusting.
