And all the while the atmosphere heats up, millions are displaced each year from climate change, no jobs bills from rightwingers and no help with climate issues.

I just wish I could live long enough to sit back and watch the inevitable consequences play out on live tv....

I am like George Carlin in that way, disasters excite me, especially when they include some karma.

that tie their praise of teabagger Bundy and his 'supporters' to the murder of those police.

Words have consequences, and there is blood on their lips.

Into Dominionist Political Ideology - I agree with you, randys1, Erichblood, etc. etc.

However, in their world - the world of the Religious Right -

All they have to do (in their minds) is claim they have been born again, say they are sorry, say they are ashamed - and weak minded people who ALSO believe in a dominionist world view in 'safe districts' and states will hand them their votes, money, and prayers.

That's the reality of it.

And truthfully - Cliven Bundy himself is a part of that Dominionist political spectrum - so the folks who will vote for the Right's candidates actually agree with his stance.

That said - it can and should be used by every left candidate to raise money and rally our folks to the polls.

There are lots of felons still there. That was a CYA statement that cannot be refuted since the Millers are dead.

Ammon Bundy, the rancher's son, said armed militiamen do accompany his father to news conferences at a roadside protest area and were guarding the family home, but denied they had established a deliberately intimidating presence.

"They have sidearms, but they are not carrying rifles," he told Reuters. "But going down to churches and schools, or stopping people on the road, that's not happening."

"He's not the absolute worst elected Republican right now."

What I find ironic about him is that twenty years ago he would have been considered a far right extremist, and now he's a "moderate" Republican.

Not many huge fans of Republicans around here, Dean Heller included. At least he's not Ted Cruz is the best I've got for him.

The only way to remove a member of Congress is expulsion, and this requires a 2/3 vote.

Personally I am happy to rely on voters to make these decisions.

I think this civil unrest will ultimately be used by political candidates who are going to "restore the rule of law". The more confused and fearful Americans become the more they will be willing to accept a tough President who will deal with the perceived anarchy. Ironically, the actions of the right will only hasten the inevitable police state they think is already here. Unfortunately for us, the tough leaders may come from their ranks.

Each body of the Congress may remove members upon a 2/3 vote.

The Constitution of the United States of America

Article I

Section 5.
