Santorum holds incredibly stupid, right-wing positions on just about everything. That is why he will not be the nominee, even of the GOP. He's done.

For Santorum to have this guy as a spokesperson is just... well.. perfect and symbolic of his campaign.

(26,582 posts)He was roughly what they wanted, and makeup did the rest for his appearance. He didn't actually play the banjo, it's another persons hands that you see. Billy Redden's arms were behind his back and Mike Addis' arms reached through and did the actual playing. That is all hidden by the camera angles. (Things I learned in a college course on communication for $1000 Alex.)
