From staff reports

Heavy rains, wind and lightening have forced a suspension of Game 12 of the College World Series.

Virginia and Mississippi were in the early stages of the game when play was delayed. They will now resume play at 2 p.m. on Saturday. If Mississippi wins, the elimination game would be played on Sunday.

The Texas-Vanderbilt elimination game will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday.

What is strange this year is no west coast teams.

Edit to add, UCI made it but they were the only one.

No Pac12 teams!
