On April 4, 1968 the Reverend Martin Luther King, Junior was assassinated.

He was gunned down on the balcony of a hotel in Memphis, Tennessee.

Long live the memory and legacy of Martin Luther King Junior. If our future is to survive with any trace of liberty then we need our heirs to remember the heroes of their past.

Sometimes I want to cry that I wasn't born in the era he lived. I feel there will never be another like him, and our society is all the poorer for it.
