So. What do we do?

We get the damn vote out, that's what we do, in the short term. That's got to be the immediate goal. Get that damn delusional house out of the picture. It's time.

Anyone with any connections should use them now.

I've got time tomorrow. Perfect opportunity to search the web for any local organising I can join.

This is it, folks. 2014. Think globally, act locally.
I'm not kidding.

I'm posting this to hold myself accountable. To you guys. So that I can report back that I DID something.

Doesn't matter how small. If it's out of your comfort zone, like it is for me, to get involved in a group....well, now's the time to get busy. Even a little step forward is worthwhile if you had to push past your limitations to do it.

I am going to look for some local GOTV organising and find something- -anything- -that I can at least get off my fat ass and do.

Post here if you're going to get busy, in any way, shape or form.

We are here to encourage each other. We have to.

Thanks

---And I'm going to bed now so I can get up early, so I give myself time to do it.

And nothing came up! Teapuke and libertarian meetings came up. wasn't expecting that!

Went by the Hob Lob here too, thinking maybe there'd be a protest. Maybe I missed them? Cuz it'd suck to think there wasn't any.

I'm gonna have to contact this one particular friend and see if she knows of anything.

Just a temporary setback!!!!!!!!! Not gonna let it be a problem.

I am going to find out when they meet and start attending meetings. We need to GOTV in 2014.

My US Rep is Steve Stivers, who was a lobbyist for the banking industry. It is shocking how all these rural people vote for this sleazeball when he is selling them out everyday. The district was absurdly gerrymandered to give him a safe seat. The Democratic Party is running a really good guy against him this fall, Scott Wharton. He can beat Stivers, if he gets some help from the party and we GOTV.

but our Congressional district includes Boulder, so we get a Dem Congressperson. I'm headed to the 6th district later this summer to work for Andrew Romanoff for Congress. He's got a shot.
