I met him a few times myself. Disrespecting a good man to make a point about a bad poster is not something I'd do myself. It is not an action I respect much.

why do I hear Elvis and Suspicious Minds?

You served on a randomly-selected Jury of DU members which reviewed this post. The review was completed at Thu Jul 10, 2014, 10:12 PM, and the Jury voted 3-4 to LEAVE IT.

Juror #1 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #2 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: Hell if we are leaving everything else, why not this? Not CS issue, IMO.
Juror #3 voted to LEAVE IT ALONE
Explanation: No explanation given
Juror #4 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: Troll, sexist, nuke.
Juror #5 voted to HIDE IT
Explanation: I was just about to look at this thread. And now I see what a waste of time it would be. Read the appreciation threads, Fred. You might learn something about our longtime members.

did not care for these appreciation threads at all. They are nothing but opportunities for cheap (emoticon of clapping hands) lines. We may as well go ahead and declare DU as the best (f-word) group evaaaar. And we are all ridiculous like the characters of the TV show Designing Women (I've never seen it so I don't know, but I assume there is some sort of feminism and supportive niceness involved). The post quickly disappeared before I even had the popcorn popped. The the rug was pulled out from under him and here we are.
