Flat Earth Society people are not equal to Round Earth Society people, why do both get equal media?

Solutions are not always political, sometimes they are obvious. There is no debate that what
Obama wants in his Congressional emergency appropriation IS the short term solution.
Speed up the legally required hearings? How about clearing the already one year backlog and this new surge, NOT a great crisis, with more border agents, judges, legal aid, more funding for it? Duh!
Yet the idiotic and equally debated bizarro world deflection the Republicans are allowed to get away with, for the sake of fairness, is "we must secure the borders first?" Which will do exactly what for the tens of thousands already in America? See that line on a map? That is a border. On one side are the people trying to get in, on the other the people already here. Got it?
There is no debate that the comprehensive immigration bill passed six long months ago is the best long term solution, but solutions seem to be the problem with Republicans. Solutions will be politicized as a "success for Obama", so perish the thought of such a thing ever happening, how could the media balance any success with an equal failure?
The media insistence that all things MUST be political, all things must be equal, all argument has equal weight and must be equally pondered and discussed in equally divided, equally respected round table discussions and balanced coverage, it all fails to note that drunken and uninformed opinion is not the same as sober and researched argument.
Taking a position loudly and with anger makes the position not a wit stronger. Turning red in face and projecting spittle while insisting Obama must go to the border to look at refugee children and taking a boat ride on a muddy river makes the case no better than saying it calmly, which is to say, not at all.
Going to the border, as did Perry and Fox News propaganda puppet Hannity was a photo-op, a purely political ploy involving boats, guns and body armour. It was pure politics, it solves nothing but stroking your own ego and stroking the ego of the media. And sending the tough guy image that all refugees, including children, will be shot dead on sight. There is some balance right there, balancing compassion with genocide, good work.
The American media is a cruel joke, a joke being played out with real world consequence. The media long ago abdicated their role as guardians of democracy, they have willingly succumbed to corporate greed, the Greenback is king, to hell with the wetback is the message, save the zygotes, let the children die is the message of exceptional America.
The American media playing constant political games is what got America into false wars, a loser of a President for 8 years, an unnecessary Great Recession, and now they want to play the game all over again?
How about covering the fact that America has the lowest uninsured rate in history, the lowest health care cost growth in history, the most secure border in history, net migration from Mexico is actually negative, do they know all that? How hard is that to discover?
Time after time the flamebaters, the hair on fire crew, the hateful shrill voices get the attention, both from the left and the right, they get the oft fawning all sides are equal treatment. And when these snake oil sales reps get even the mildest of push backs it becomes some Earth shattering calling out, which it never is.
So America is treated to day after day of shrill bleating from the media insisting they know politics best and the politics say Obama must run to the border, because if even one major thing is not political, if one major thing cries out for a solution that is obvious, then how can it be made to be about politics?
You can not possibly have a solution without dancing with media first, so who does President Obama think he is, that he too is above the rule of the media?
Stop talking politics and start talking solutions, how much more can your ratings suffer, oh Great Media? Why are you giving up all your soapboxes and megaphones to the charlatans and grifters of America wholly ignoring the solution providers of America?
When did America agree that politics always has to trump solutions! When did America agree to follow the political pundits opinions and not the opinions of experts, because I really do not recall anything like that happening.
