This quote will be used in some fashion against every Democratic candidate in every rural district across the US this fall.

"The NRA went after two or three state Senators in a part of Colorado where I don't think there's roads. It's as far rural as you can get," Bloomberg said. "And, yes, they lost recall elections. I'm sorry for that. We tried to help 'em."

This statement proves that Bloomberg needs to shut up and go home and count his billions, because he has no intellectual ability to do anything else. He is completely contemptuous of anyone outside his tiny circle of yes men. No wonder the recall was successful, with friends like Bloomberg who needs enemies!

1. Bloomberg is a Republican. Also, any rural Democrat who supports more gun control is going to be in

trouble in the area they represent. That is a fact. If Democrats want to win rural districts, the Democrats who represent, or want to represent, those districts need to avoid supporting additional gun control.
