Moms With Guns founder shares Obama pic on Facebook, adds ‘where is assassin when you need one’

Sharing a photo on her Facebook page of President Obama’s recent visit to Texas, the founder of the Moms With Guns website commented on the photo, stating: “Where is an assasin (sic) when you need one?”

The post has since been taken down and the Moms With Guns Facebook account has been closed by founder Kathy Perkins, but not before Liberaland was able to save a screen capture, seen below.

One commenter, Todd Thozeski of Seven Hills, Ohio, commented on her Facebook share, “Duh,’ while Liberaland noted another wrote, “I know…I’m amazed it hasn’t happened yet.”

Perkin’s Moms With Guns website and her twitter account, @MomsWithGuns , are still up, but contain no reference to her wishing for the assassination of the President of the United States.

... someone's coined a bumper sticker slogan encouraging people to pray for Barack Obama. But here's the funny part: it's really a secret Christian code for "Kill the President!"

Psalm 109 is known as "A Cry for Vengeance," which is one of the foundational values of Christianity, along with small-business tax cuts. It's actually quite a little psalm, as psalms go, and the opening lines sound really familiar:

Hold not thy peace, O God of my praise;
for the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me:they have spoken against me with a lying tongue.
They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause.

Then it gets into the part where you pray for God to smite Barack Obama and condemn Malia and Sasha to poverty for the rest of their lives, a fate they deserve because they sprang from the loins of the sinful:

Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places.

The Psalm 109:8 gag is one in what's becoming a long line of cheekily coded Obama death threats: There was the classified ad someone placed in a Pennsylvania paper hoping that he follows in "the footsteps of Lincoln, Garfield, McKinley, and Kennedy," all of whom were assassinated. And there was the gun-toting New Hampshire teabagger with a sign saying it is time to "water the tree of liberty"—a reference to Thomas Jefferson's reminder that the tree of liberty must be watered from time to time with the "blood of tyrants and patriots."

I use the kids in the hall, routine of using the finger and thumb to decapitate heads of right wing rePUGs heads. Sometimes I spend an an hour or two, then my fingers get sore.

20. Wifes Step father

So I am at a family reunion for my wife's side of the family this weekend and I hear my wife's step father mention that one of his co-workers had said that Obama should go to Dallas and drive the same route that Kennedy did. He was speaking to one of my wife's uncles who is an airline pilot. I looked at both of them and I said that no American should ever wish for the leader of our nation to be assassinated. I made no mention of political parties even though they know that I am a democrat. It truly frightens me that some people in this country have reached such a point of insanity that they openly wish or root for the assassination of our President.

Perhaps another response in a case like this could be -

"hey friend, we know what your address is (at work or at home). We'll be sending it to the Secret Service and the FBI, before we even leave this gathering."

They do this shit because there are no consequences for it. Because nothing's done about it. Because they're not confronted with the full force of the law. I don't care that it's just cheap talk. Maybe if they start realizing that if they open their yaps about this or post about it, they're going to have to answer for it officially, this will subside?

And I realize it won't go away as long as President Obama is A) dark-skinned and B) still President. But just consider the deterrent factor. People speed all the time on my street. But every now and then the appeals for a traffic cop or speed trap yield results: usually a motorcycle cop who hunkers down from a side street and then nabs people right and left. And then? Word gets around that there's a speed trap on our street and the speeding stops. For awhile. But even if it's just for awhile, it still stops.
