Today is Malala Day.

From Gabby Giffords on FaceBook

Today is #MalalaDay, a day for all of us to stand up & say we are #StrongerThan fear. Like millions around the world, I draw strength from Malala's brave example. She is a testament that women everywhere will not be intimidated into silence. We will make our voices heard. We will speak, no matter how hard it is to do so.

It is too bad Gabby Giffords couldn't have gone back to Congress. I'm sure 3 1/2 years later she is still working to overcome her injuries from that horrible day.

One "Muslim" nut case, one "Christian" nut case. (There's a reason for the quotation marks, as neither fuckwad was following the true teachings of his religion.)
