that there are many radical gun toting groups/white supremacist/Klan groups in east Texas that the SPLC can't keep track of, from my looking at their literature, which I receive on a frequent basis.

Hell, several men here in East Texas have told my husband that he needs to "control me better" and basically tell me what to do.

They assume that he owns the real property we live on. I own it. I inherited it. But they always assume the man controls everything because they are macho assholes, and I'm not supposed to have my own thoughts. I will bow down to nobody's directions.

They can't even get it through their heads, the idea of an EQUAL relationship. When we make decisions, we talk it over and come to an agreement. This is a foreign concept to a lot of people. They think one person has to dominate the other, and usually it's the male. We don't run our relationship that way.
