I'm still here every day, I read. I don't post as much because I just don't have the time to really put down my thoughts. I probably have been posting more at Discussionist, and not even much there... heh, what a crazy place that is. But the new job, the new kittens and the new girl friend all feel like better ways to spend my time now If I catch the notice though, I do want to sign up for another MIRT term next time.

I thought MIRT couldn't ban members with more than 100 posts? That gets repeated over and over I just assumed it was true.

29. No, MIRT needs a hide and they have a limited time

to take out someone over 100 posts. It's got to be with consensus and obviously would have to be pretty egregious if the post count is high.

Admin can always reinstate but it keeps things from getting out of hand if someone is really out of bounds and the admins are busy elsewhere.

That PM to Cali is a perfect example of needing to act.
