I will say this again for those cheering on Obama for the FAA restricting flights to Israel,Obama does not have anything to do with FAA decisions regarding air safety,those giving him credit are making Cruz's fake point for him.He's got nothing to do with the it and the GOP will attempt put the blame on him.

What if the FAA lifts the ban and the airlines won't fly to TLV anyhow? They are not obliged to go there, and won't if they think it's dangerous (or if they have problems with insurance). Will that also be the Obama administration's fault? Or, what if the ban is lifted and the flights resume and, God forbid, one does get shot down? What will Cruz have to say about that?

3. Cruz is cynically counting on people thinking Obama

dictates to the FAA what planes will be permitted to go where.Of course,it's the FAA that makes those calls.If presidents could actually pick up the phone and forbid airlines from flying as a form of punishment to countries,they would have used that power well before now and often.
