Sarah Palin, Cindy Sheehan

A few years after being on the news almost daily, Cindy Sheehan has pretty much dropped out of the spotlight although she still tries very hard to get her views on the issues out. She's even a candidate for governor of California.

On the other hand, Sarah Palin, who should have sunk out of sight, is making big bucks from speaking fees, now has a tv channel and is often the subject of OPs here at DU.

When was the last time you've read an OP here about Cindy and what she is doing or saying? The last one I recall is one I wrote quite awhile ago about her running for governor.

I put up a news item where Medea had been arrested and physically assaulted in the Cairo airport and the only answers I got was that she deserved it. It seems around here the only women who should be protected from physical abuse are only those others have decided deserve it.

One's a John Birch loon, the other is a LaRouche loon.

The Democrats are the party of slavery and were the party that started every war in the 20th Century except the other Bush debacle. The Federal Reserve, permanent federal (and unconstitutional) income taxes, Japanese Concentration Camps and, not one, but two atom bombs dropped on the innocent citizens of Japan were brought to us via the Democrats.

While one may not agree with Cindy's viewpoints, I think most everyone ought to give her credit for not just talking the talk but for also walking the walk.

However, I do give her a lot of credit for actually going out there and doing something about it.

Could only wish she was able to capitalize on the OWS movement.

Thing is, Democrats don't seem to have the Media contacts to promote individuals such as her.

Palin in her several efforts to find success, with the John McCain circus clown car, her reality shows, and her Internet channel has become a national joke. She reminds me of Bugs Bunny in "What's Up Doc?"

''Money trumps peace.'' -- George W Bush, Feb. 14, 2007

And then he laughs.

The very words of George W Bush on Feb. 14, 2007, uttered at a press conference in which not a single of the callow, cowed press corpse saw fit to ask a follow-up.

I remember Cindy Sheehan tried to bring it to our nation's attention.

As for his Poppy: Bush Sr told the FBI he was in Dallas on Nov. 22, 1963.

Oh. Welcome to DU, Mr_Clean. Enjoy your stay.

I wish her peace.

As for Poppy, if he was repeating hearsay that was about the assassination in Dallas, why wait so long to report it? Huge coincidence he suddenly decided to do it on that day too... He reeks.
