Former Enochs High School student Jordan Powers, 18, and James Hooker, 41, a teacher who recently resigned from the school, talk about their relationship on March 27.

A Modesto, Calif., teen student who made national news when she and her high school teacher moved in together said Saturday she broke off their relationship after he was arrested on a charge of earlier abusing another student.

Jordan Powers, 18, told ABC News that when Christopher James Hooker, 41, called her from jail after his arrest Friday she told him, "We're done."

During Saturday's interview with ABC, Powers said she had "lost everything for this guy."

"I lost my senior year. I gave up all my friends at high school because they didn't agree with me," said the former Enochs High School student.

to what his wife and four children have had to endure, and both of them could not have cared less about his family or anyone else except themselves. His level of narcissistic disregard for his wife and children during interviews and tv appearances was nothing short of breathtaking.

And SHE had to "give up everything" for him, including her senior year? Oh, the injustice. Oh, boo-hoo. His seventeen-year-old daughter had to switch schools during HER senior year to get away from the mess and God knows what his wife and other children had to endure. Fuck them both. They deserve every bit of any shit that comes their way.

Living here, I see more on this story than I probably should and there is something about the Mom that just doesn't quite sit right with me.

This should teach 41 year old men to stay the hell away from teenagers. Same for older women. I am sure the 18 year old felt "very special" for all the attention---and very hurt when someone else upstaged her in the limelight.
