This one ranks right up there with "I never SAID I'd repeal the 10th Title of the Civil Rights Act, and I never SAID I support the 'right' of private businesses to discriminate against people."

Here's his excuse for pissing off like greased lightning when a couple of DREAMER activists showed up to confront him and King.

"But about five minutes before that or two minutes before that the video doesn't show that another reporter came up and said will you do an interview. And I said I need to take a couple more bites and we'll do an interview, and then I was told we had to leave and I had to do the interview."

Sorry Rand, but it's painfully obvious to anybody who saw the video that you were happily enjoying your sandwich when you shook their hands at the 0:03 minute mark, and then you nearly choke on it when you hear what they're there to talk about (at the 0:12 mark). Then your handler says "let's get the hell out of here before we get caught in a bad photo op" and zoom, you're gone faster than a donut in a police station.

Gotta give King his props. He's an asshole, but at least he's not both an asshole AND a chickenshit.
