This is what you get in a "profit-driven" health care system

http://abcnews.go.com/Health/judgment-day-surgeon-admitted-fake-surgeries/story?id=22814868

The motive is buried near the end of the first section. The doctor felt pressure to "deliver" profits to shareholders, himself among them.

Health care should not ever be a "business." Profit has no place in such a system.

Full disclosure: 2 friends had surgeries performed by this doctor. One is very dissatisfied and believes the surgery was not performed properly.

stent surgery in the entire metropolitan area went down drastically...and temporarily. And it's happening in multiple states.

Medications are advertised like clothing. Dentists have "quotas" for procedures and face pressure if they don't meet them.

It's SICK and it's EVIL.

And this fraud, malpractice, and money grubbing to sustain and grow the BUSINESS have been entrenched as part of the system.
