I am part middle-eastern Jew, part European look like a middle-eastern Jew and people often mistake me for an Arab or Persian occasionally a Greek or Portugese or South american. In america, most Jews are Ashkenazi ( European) and are just amazed to meet someone like me ! Most Americans who have never visited Israel therefore have never encountered a middle-eastern Jew so naturally they suspect I am some Arab guy ( therefore terrorist! WINK!). Are they being racist ? No, just woefully ignorant kinda like mistaking a Sikh for a Muslim. Ironically, during the partition of India and Pakistan, Muslims slaughtered millions of Indian Sikhs, Hindus, Jains, Zoroastrians and Christians. Indian Sikhs, Hindus and Muslims are arch enemies so its ironic that they are mistaken to be Muslims because of their turbans and beards !

Unfortunately,, there are way too many culturally/ethnically ignorant, insular and anti-international people in America inspite of the cultural and ethnic diversity in the east and west coasts and some big cities in the Mid-West and the South.

Some facts that can be gleaned from credible sources but ignored ( deliberately ) by the main-stream media.

Most rapists in america are not black males but white males. White on white rape is waaay higher than black and white rape. White women are also less likely to report a white on white rape than a black/hispanic . Blacks and hispanics are 5 times more likely to convicted of rape than whites even though whites commit more rapes in sheer numbers. But, mains-stream ignores this fact and deliberately dehumanizes black and hispanic males.

Most gun related violence in america is not due to blacks or hispanics but guess what white males ? But, if if you watch the main-stream media , you'd think black and hispanic males are trigger happy barbarians.

Most serial killers are middle-class suburban white males
