Those who supported or voted for the Iraq War are partially to blame.

In 2003 hundreds of thousands of us were in the streets protesting against a war we knew was illegal and illegitimate. We were called "traitors" "bleeding hearts" "cowards" "commies" by not just Republicans but by the Democrats who supported the war. Politicians like Hillary Clinton gave rousing speeches in support of the invasion and the DLC came out in full support of the invasion.

In 2014 we hear the same thing from these center-right Democrats, we're called the "fringe left" we're told we don't really matter, and that might be true.....

But I'm proud to say I was against the war from the start, and I'm sickened to see the death and destruction done in my name because some people are too cowardly to hold politicians accountable.
