Obama hasn't failed the black community, he's revived it.
Contributors to FOX and other right-wing media have often made a claim - one they imagine must strike at the very heart of liberalism, progressivism, and the Obama Presidency - that the first African American President has failed the Black community. The extraordinary thing is not that they have a case, or even that they are partially right in some aspects, but rather that they are completely wrong in just about every category you can think of. President Obama's fortifying of the Black community for the long term will in fact be an important and enduring part of his legacy:
