Printer rec?

Looking to get a low cost printer, only needs to print black ink. Doing walk lists and phonebank lists for a genuine for real honest to goodness grassroots campaign, and don't want to invest in something that's going to cost piles of money for ink supply. Don't even care if the machine doesn't last beyond election day, just need to have printing available short term.

So, any recommendations?

But depending on how much printing you are doing, you may want to consider having it done. some places printed for me at about 4 cents a page. add the cost of the printer, the ink and the paper and compare costs.

3. Brother HL-2240 laser printer...

had the prior model that lasted almost forever until dropped and smashed while moving. Have the current model and it works flawlessly, with fairly cheap cartridges when needed.

Often found for 60 bucks or so on sale.
