Anonymous claims it has obtained and published audio of St. Louis County, Mo., police dispatch tapes from Aug. 9, which was the date Michael Brown was fatally shot by an officer.
These tapes will be key to any investigation.

Yeah the NSA called in favor and had youtube "view block" this to stop it going viral.You dont see them view blocking Aria Grande videos for instance.Or Niki Minaj videos,Ones which are quite obviously botted the fuck up.The real view count is probably in the thousands but yet they read well into the millions.

for the first day when a new video is posted that gets a lot of hits.

I've seen this happen with music videos, example Lady Gaga. The first day is normally always 301+ views even though you know like 1 million watched. Not sure why it does that.

YouTube starts verifying views to make sure they are legit and not just one person trying to pump up the view count, so it takes longer for the views to register.

a lot of views in a very short time.

...after 300 views YouTube starts trying to verify that views are legitimate, in order to make view counts accurate and for example prevent people from pumping up the view counts on their own videos. This takes a little longer than just the straight number of clicks which is used for the first 300, so that's why it gets stuck at 300.
