“They didn’t even check to see if he was breathing.”---So says a witness interviewed by the NY Times

“They didn’t even check to see if he was breathing.”
byHayate Yagami

So says a witness interviewed by the NY Times

Sitting outside his building, Mr. Stone said he was jolted by the sound of two gunshots, followed by several more in rapid succession. The second series of shots “sounded automatic,” he said. “They let it rip.”

Mr. Stone ran outside and saw two police officers, both white men, standing near Mr. Brown, who was lying on his stomach, his arms at his sides, blood seeping from his head. Another neighbor, a woman who identified herself as a nurse, was begging the officers to let her perform CPR.

They refused, Mr. Stone said, adding, “They didn’t even check to see if he was breathing.”

And then, as I'm sure we all remember, they left the body in the street for another four hours.

There is video, I have seen it, of the body lying there for a long time, the cops are all at the opposite end of the block,
and finally a coroner car drives up.
Altho it is evident that the poor guy's head wounds precluded any first aid attempt, the witness comments are pretty specific.
The cops only move when one of Brown's male relatives comes onto the scene and spots the body.

The Anonymous tapes get no calls from Ferfuson until well after the shooting, asking for "crowd control".

check Youtube.

Eyewitnesses are reporting 7-10 shots.

from Wilson's previous call. Radio calls within Ferguson, or between Ferguson and other municipalities, wouldn't show up on county tapes. The anonymous audio is useless in determining what all happened.

shows in two logs on page 17 and 18

It's been said several times that the EMS who had been with Wilson on a sick call just before the shooting responded to the shooting.

I love animals and don't like guns. But I grew up in a family of hunters. There are times when you just know something is dead or as good as dead - it's hopeless.

An EMS person comes across a guy who has allegedly been shot multiple times including in the face with a weapon that has significant firepower, as the Ferguson cops allegedly possess. It might not take very long to conclude that person's ultimate disposition - even if they still had a flicker of a weak pulse - because the damage is so obviously catastrophic, there is no hope.

You can hear people in the background screaming, "Where is the ambulance?". The guy taping knows an ambulance is not necessary at this point but you can hear people wondering why one was not called or didn't show up.

At around 5:49m. That means he had been laying there for at least 10 minutes and no ambulance had checked him. The police chief lies, poorly.

He comes in right after the police lead Micheal Brown's father away.

The possible EMT seems to check for a pulse, goes around to the other side - the camera pans away for a bit - then is seen looking at Michael Brown's head from the back. Then he makes a phone call. Maybe that is when the coroner's office is called?

I just looked more closely and he definitely looks like EMT to me. I originally thought he might be a coroner or police shooting investigator but the way he is dressed and the size of the bag looks like EMT from my experience.

I'm not sure why the woman is shouting about an ambulance since he looks like he came from her direction. Maybe she was upset that the body was being left there.

She may have been upset that an ambulance didn't pull up next to Michael Brown.

The cops were probably certain that he was dead, but needed a medical professional to confirm. They also probably did not want to contaminate the crime scene with an ambulance driving on site - though I would hope that if there had been a chance to save Michael Brown's life, they would have allowed the ambulance as close as possible.

Mr. Stone's account seems to indicate that there was a second cop on the scene immediately after the shooting - did Darren Wilson have a partner in the car with him? If so, why has no information come out about him and his account?
