FBI Agent: Jonnie Williams Splurged On Lavish Getaway For McDonnells

http://wamu.org/news/14/08/14/fbi_agent_jonnie_williams_splurged_on_lavish_getaway_for_mcdonnells

In the corruption trial of former Gov. Bob McDonnell and his wife, Maureen, an FBI agent has testified that a wealthy businessman spent more than $36,000 entertaining the couple at a Cape Cod resort in 2012.

Agent David Hulser says the weekend tab at Chatham Bars Inn included more than $9,000 for food and beverages, including 16 servings of Remy Louis cognac totaling $2,400. Financial records showed that former Star Scientific CEO Jonnie Williams paid all the expenses for the McDonnells and three other guests.
