not an ambulance or a hearse???

(86,005 posts). . . after all it wasn't an emergency anymore, having let him lay there for hours after they determined he was dead.
I'd suspect some sort of cover-up of evidence or tampering.

(3,709 posts)in a proper body bag in order to protect evidence.
Unless they don't have a coroner's van.... I can't think of any reason. If they didn't, the body should have been transported by ambulance.
Looks like this police department did nothing right.

(7,234 posts)If there was a struggle starting inside the car or a shot was fired by the officer from inside, finger prints, gunshot residue could tell a lot about what actually happened but its obvious they just drove the involved car back to the station. No one reported seeing it being towed out of there.

(2,030 posts)that said "Officer Wilson" drove it back to the station, even though it was an integral part of the crime scene.

(653 posts)something to the effect that Wilson remained at the crime seen for hours (six is the number I recall) and then went to the hospital for treatment of his swollen face. St Louis County police were in charge not long after the shooting.

(9,186 posts)This Police Department hasn't handled this shooting professionally at all. It s a cluster F of enormous proportions.
The police chief must be suspended pending investigation of how he runs this police department.
The justice department needs to investigate the officer, the police chief and the entire police department.

(3,184 posts)There's a lot more cops than coroners, and dialing 911 (at least in the US) alerts the cops to what might be happening. There's no way we, the public, can secure a scene against 'excited' cops.

"Where are the drug screen results on the shooter?"
"Where is the pic of the cop's face showing the injuries?"
"Was the police offier "swabbed" for the teen's DNA?"

(109 posts)Why wasn't Michael Brown's body covered immediately? Why did it lay exposed in the street for hours? The Ferguson police showed a complete lack of respect, clearly demonstrating their disdain for some of the citizens they're supposed to protect.
I don't remember Lindsey Lohan and Wynona Ryder being mowed down after they were caught shoplifting.

(14,040 posts)You'll see a black SUV behind the PD SUV. I suspect the black SUV belongs to the coroners office.

(25,485 posts)fit the defense that he was trying to grab the gun, and get the officer in the car..
After the fact, now, Mike Brown's DNA is all over Wilson's car
