"The clear intent of the page is to show appreciation for, at the very least, the sentiment expressed by the vandals. Intentionally or not, though, that Ibsen quote (I guess the couldn’t find one that said “A thousand words will not leave so deep an impression as one click on my PayPal link.”) is an encouragement to more “deeds.”

His antics are not helping his case. From the moment he made that 911 call, he has done nothing but make things worse with each step.

Let's review:

Calls 911 because that's what he does whenever he sees a black man, woman or child.
He follows said person against the advice of the dispatcher.
He ends up pulling a gun and shooting an innocent teenager.
He is not arrested but vacates his home and goes into hiding ASAP.
Sends paid shills and family members out to defend him on TV.
Will not show his face and take responsibility for his actions under any circumstances.
Solicits money on the internet for legal expenses when he has neither been indicted or arrested.
Posts a racist graffiti on his beg-a-thon website that shows both his overt racism and his true lack of regard for other people's property.

So what's next? Run for public office? Start dating the Octomom?

There's a weird overprotectiveness in the responses from his family that we have seen. Also, his actions sound like he's mentally challenged. I mean if you believe you have done nothing wrong, why not publicly come out and say so? Not doing so seems an admission of guilt.

Or the fear that we'd hear him say one word and all our worst fears would be confirmed--that he was not someone who should have been allowed to carry a weapon.

The fact that he couldn't become a cop. His anger management issues. The length of time he was enrolled in community college (7 years) without finishing. He sounds like he has a mental disability. And if he does, it would be documented in his K-12 school records. I think his family should release those. Prove he is not special ed. I just have this sixth sense from years as a teacher.

Where would the family send him if he is on the lam?

and this is not an excuse for murder, however, "being a man" in the normal sense of the word is WAY down the list of a paranoid schizophrenic. And, if undiagnosed, there would be nothing to stop him from getting a gun to "protect himself", even though the voices may have been in his own mind.

He was likely truly terrified of "black people" given the town and his culture and the privileged nature of his parentage. Their world exists pretty much within their own mind...and gets increasingly stuck there. Also, it often does not present clearly until one is in the teens to 20's and it breaks up families.

13. I'm no psychiatrist, but Borderline and/or Paranoid Schizophrenia

would certainly describe what little we know of his behavior. (including being clueless about the implications of this photo) Those considered high-functioning are usually well above average intellectually and can be stabilized to some degree by medication and accommodation from family and community. (There goes Georgie again)

Without meds and psychiatric help, and many go either undiagnosed or won't cooperate, they are a time bomb waiting to go off. There is no place for them in the mental health system UNTIL they do something that puts them into the legal/penal system. If he has been diagnosed, it will be part of the defense.

And this is a guess ... if not and they take him in and do a psychological evaluation and diagnose him of something like this, they could hopefully still charge him with manslaughter and put him in a prison hospital. That could be part of a legally logical reason for the delay.
