What is the differnce between what is going on in Ferguson and OWS?

Besides that the police murdered an innocent and unarmed teenager.

In both cases, the police use tear gas and arrest protesters and journalists.

There is pattern emerging that the powers that be are trying desperately to silence dissent from all fronts, including the press. And the most troubling aspect is that they're using any means necessary, including the use of military vehicles and weapons. I'm afraid that the next step they're going to take is actually shooting and killing people.

This seems to be coordinated from someone or some organization from somewhere other than locally where the protests are happening, maybe even from DC.

Ferguson- mostly people who live there. OWS- mostly people who decided to camp out. KittyWampus Aug 2014 #5

I never did understand the value of "sit there and take it" as a tactic.

Been going on for many years and the elites know a backlash is coming. So they are itching to test their clampdown skills.
