I don't see any blood and yes. it is clear enough to see that. I don't see him holding his eye and if he had such serious injury as others were claiming it seems like he would be.

If he has any injury, it certainly doesn't appear life threatening or serious.

His buddy would have given it to him in the locker room after he got back to the station house. From the reports of the injury, his buddy got a bit over zealous.
