I'm not sure whether the fracture is corrected by surgery or just left to heal.

If there's a surgery, someone will have to perform it. I guess it would be endoscopically through the nose.

If there's no surgery, the bones will heal where they are, leaving a pattern.

Well, maybe an S&W hand cannon, but nothing LE would ever carry will hit that hard.

That being said, I've heard firsthand that orbital fractures leave you rather dizzy, stunned-feeling and with wild double-vision - I seriously doubt the good piggy could have gotten one shot off point-blank, let alone 6 at 10 yards. Course, there's no formal reports on any of this yet so as far as I'm concerned nobody actually knows anything right now.

..to have had someone injure him deliberately after the incident with Brown and then try to blame those injuries on his confrontation with Brown.

Police have been known to fabricate, remove, and alter evidence to fit their agenda. There certainly have been more than a few African Americans pulled over on an 'anonymous tip,' their car searched, and drugs materialized in their trunk out of thin air.
