The "Josie" story that is being called the murdering cop's story is a float. A trial balloon.

The murdering cop's side put it out there to have holes poked in it. It is meant to put in everybody's mid that Mr. Brown got what he deserved because he assaulted a police officer and to test the details. The details change, but the basic narrative doesn't.

This way, when the murdering cop actually gives his story, it will be a refined version and he will always be able to say "I never said that" when the bullshit that doesn't fit the evidence in "Josie's" tale gets walked out.

It's all how the murdering cop intends to walk on this crime.

I can't believe they are talking about this like it is the "other side" of the story that has merit.

Who the hell reports this crap. Third party hearsay by a friend of the girlfriend of this guy???? WTF??

And then to not be demanding the official incident reports or at least reporting the police and authorities refuse to release them.... I want to know, did that fucking murdering cop make an incident report. If he did, why hasn't it been released to the public. If not, why the hell not!

This Josie thing, as you can tell, is fucking pissing me off to no end.

connivance of the main-stream media to allow him and his attorneys to game out potential defense narratives before having to pick one.

You know the weird thing, though? Wilson may walk on this crime, but somehow I'm starting to get the feeling that deep seismic forces are at work, such that Mike Brown may go down in history as a turning point. There ain't going to be any more 'business as usual' in the good ole U.S. of A.

The American middle class doesn't get to go back to its comfortable lives and its habit of looking the other way and pretending this shit isn't happening to its youth, its minorities and its dispossessed.

That is very small consolation to his parents and loved ones, though, I know. But here's what a great man had to say on such matters 150 years ago:

It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us -- that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion -- that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain -- that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom -- and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.

talking about when he referenced 'honored dead' (although he was speaking on the more literal level of the dead Union soldiers who died at Gettysburg).

She claimed to be friends with Darren Wilson's wife and got the story from her.

She called into the extreme rightwing Dana Loesch radio show to give this story.

The media has called it the cop's side of the story ever since.

WTF? And the PD "verified" the story. Uh, Wilson was the only cop present. The only version the police have is his. The only thing the police could verify was that the story Wilson told "Josie" is the same story he told them. And anyway.... how come the PD can't comment on an "on-going investigation", yet can "verify" third-hand heresy? If they can verify, then they can release Wilson's report.

You nailed it exactly. Wilson gets a friend to tell his side of the story. Then when evidence starts poking holes in the story he can say he never said that.

I was wondering why no officials came forward to say "Hey, our investigation is incomplete. You media people need to stop believing and reporting this bullshit and let us finish what we're doing."

The entire handling of this case is really one of the most bizarre things I have seen in quite some time.
