Why Mike's body lay in the street

for hours while Darren Wilson paced around looking down at the blood draining from Michael lifeless body.

Darren Wilson is a coward... gunning down a defenseless man.

There was NO protocol within this corrupt police department on how to handle gunning down a young man who had given up, surrendered.

Nobody knew what to do...The combined years of experience of the whole police force and not one, NOT ONE had a clue of what to do.

Michael Brown is a hero. The city will always remember Mike and be thankful for his courage. It will take time for Ferguson to heal. There are better days ahead thanks to Mike.

4. They didn't care. They could have put up curtains, or had police stand around him like they would

have done if Wilson had been killed. They didn't care because it was just another "thug" as the right wing haters call him.

Before all of you DU purists that insist on the need to preserve the crime scene and allow a thorough investigation--a body lying in the sweltering heat on an August day for five hours is rapdily decomposing...if you really want to preserve the crime scene and do a thorough investigation I suggest three easy steps: Step 1: draw a chalk line around the body, Step 2: Carefully place the body in a see through sterile autopsy bag making sure that those that are doing the moving wear sterile gloves, Step 3: Transport the body to a holding place that is cooled below normal body temperature (the morgue). Then if you need to continue the investigation into the evening hours or want to further preserve any remains--and prevent public viewing you install a temporary mobile tent-like structure over the chalk drawn body area and continue the investigation. This is normal PROTOCOL for all police departments. This group of half-wits have proven once again that the south breeds contempt and idiots. My apologies to any southern DUers but you know that this is the truth!!!!

about him laying in the street. It's just like the "strange fruit" from racist lynchings, meant to send a message and intimidate. Makes me friggin sick.

8. What exactly were they processing that took 5 hours?

seems like a rather long time to look for evidence in a relatively small area. IMO the police knew or suspected this was a bad shoot from the get go and the whole thing confused them. The way they were moving around in the video was like people who were stunned. Maybe this is normal for them to be stunned at any crime scene, but I have never seen that in real life.

I could be seeing it wrong, it was a short video and the sound quality left a lot to be desired. Early in the video though an officer went to question someone and he just looked very confused he started asking leading questions. Now, that can be taken two ways, he didn't understand the person he was talking to so he was asking questions he could sort of guess what the answer was. Or, he understood that he was looking at a murder scene and wanted to lead away from asking questions that would implicate another police officer in a murder.

I think that was the objective of that whole police department the minute another cop got to the scene.
