I'm not saying we should or shouldn't go into Iraq (again, to clean up Bush and Hillary's mess) but I see a sudden surge of war hungriness on this board and not a lot of signing up. When you say "we" as in "we need to get over there" what you are really saying is "somebody else needs to go over there and sort this out".

1. I think there is a federal law against raising "cause" armies in this country.

But if they changed that law to allow formation of an Onward Christian Soldiers Brigade, I think you might see a wave of enlistments.

Many Christians believe that Islam is the great evil juggernaut foretold in Revelations.

7. Being disgusted with decapitation and not wanting totally ignore genocides, is not the same as

wanting to invade every country in the world.

I think republicans are more likely to think that the only response to evil in the world is to invade some country somewhere. Democrats, I hope and expect, realize that there are more ways to deal with these issues than invasion.
