That was stunning! This is what I always thought of when I heard Bette Miller singing "From A Distance"... back in 1990-91 when GHWB took us to Kuwait to kick out Saddam. I swear, I was not smoking anything... but I would close my eyes and listen to that song
and imagine that I WAS in outer space looking back at the earth.

(3,208 posts)I have been thinking and trying to say this for a while. It is wonderful to hear it from the view of the space explorers.
If only, back when we first saw that first picture of our home we took it to heart,things would be much different now.
