(5,644 posts)O/T: I've heard some African Americans say that they intend to get out the vote in 2014 for a representative that will support what they want, and not go along with what ever the Democratic/Republican 2016 President says until they get what they want...justice. How do you think that will work out. (it sounds like a democratic tea party to me).

(39,215 posts)has been one reason or another why people will see themselves as fitting this description. There is a lot of abuse, harassment and suppression happening in this country. When people hear what Ferguson MO residents are doing about it in their town - others will follow.

If they really want to effect change, they need to start locally then think nationally.

As you noted he did speak the truth and I liked that.

That's why this wound has to be treated harshly, not just bandaged up The full weight of the Federal Government should be brought to bear on Ferguson's PD.
