Brown's Death Marked By Rallies At Washington U., SLUAs Browns funeral was being held at Friendly Temple Baptist Church, dozens of Washington U. students marched around the campus and held a moment of silence for him. About 30 students gathered at SLU for a similar event near the campus clock tower, offering brief reflections and observing a period of silence.

. . . they have to start somewhere. Voting will be one of the challenges, yes, but it's not just the 'ivory towers' which need emptying on election day. We need to mobilize and register ALL of our citizens, especially those folks in the communities which are the most affected and impacted by the worst that their state and others are experiencing.
