Would you vote for Rand Paul in the Democratic Presidential primary?

if he ran as a Democrat, but did not change any of his current or recent political positions?

and he would not be the only one running in that primary.

Stay out of other countries business is one that I really like, BUT, he has MORE opinions that I disagree with. I would NEVER vote for him no matter what party he's listed for on a ballot.

get government out of Wall Street and big business. Repeal the Voting rights Act, repeal the Civil Rights Act, criminalize abortion, ban gay marriage, make sure healthcare is entirely controlled by the private sector, Free trade all the time, Keystone pipeline, dismantle environmental regulation, argues that laws against racism are illegal. http://www.ontheissues.org/senate/Rand_Paul.htm

It is possible to advance an isolationist position without favorable invoking the name of to a racist, homophobic piece of trash. That people feel the need to invoke his name favorably tells me they support far more than that one view. We certainly have seen the expression of those same ideas about non-white male Americans expressed far too often. Therefore, while I am not surprised that some would speaking favorably about a white male supremacist, it is positively nauseating.

The guy from the Smothers Brothers' show who ran for prez in '68? Unfortunately, he's dead too. However I'd vote for a zombie Paulsen/Lynde ticket before I'd vote for Rand Paul.

After voting for him twice, I got the impression that he wasn't really serious. I felt duped.

Lynde, however, was the real deal. Plus, he reminded me of my uncle Herb.

Or do you mean who would cross over to vote for him in the primary or general election?

The idea is complete nonsense. He is a Teabagging racist POS. He would never in a million years run as a Democrat. Whoever proposed that is even more out of it than most. This place has gone insane. People now justify any reactionary, ultra-right wing idea as "leftist." I am sick to death of the bullshit.

If people want to support the Aryan Nation view of America, they should have the decency to be honest about it. Otherwise that need to take that Rand Paul shit back to Stormfront and keep that ultra-right wing shit out of here.

Just wondering. I don't think there is real support among Democrats for an anti-government candidate. I think there is untapped support for a good government candidate, especially if said candidate gets to speak as many minutes as trickle down candidates or neo-liberal ones and is not dismissed by media commentary.
