Anyone else seeing a spike in racist dog-whistle stories?

On my Facebook news feed, I've noticed a surge in black-on-white-violence dog whistle stories, usually accompanied by the complaint 'why aren't we hearing about these stories in the media'. It shouldn't surprise anyone that the people pushing these stories are white conservative teabagger types.

What these people fail to realize is that there is a vast difference in these random stories, and what we see in Ferguson. For starters, in most of these dog-whistle stories, the attackers have been arrested and are facing charges. The attackers in these cases will be put through the justice system. In Ferguson, because the shooter has a badge, he will likely avoid any criminal prosecution. Also, there is a very long history in this country of blacks and minorities being targeted by police and people in authority.

It's pathetic and racist to even try to compare a few isolated cases of black-on-white violence to the long history of violence that African-Americans have faced in this country over the years.

I'm seeing a lot of racist comments unrelated to the story being commented on.

About Sharpton, Michael Brown, offensive jokes about what happened in Ferguson, etc...

The Internet doesn't have a troll problem... the nation does.

The September message appears to be.

The knock out game.
Golf.
Riots.
Golf.
Al Sharpton.
Golf.
Flash mob robberies.
Golf.

Not necessarily in that order or having happened within the last year.
