And the registration efforts to get even more people registered to vote this fall have been ongoing all summer long.

Corruption doesn't seem to be a disqualifier to the Republican voter in Ky.

Glad you're here! Scumbag - hmm... yet another in a continuing series. Scumbags of a feather seem to - uh - stick - together. Sorry to be gross, but they deserve it.

Can someone provide me with the name and biography of an honest Republican after the Eisenhower Administration?

Just one. Don't need 100 or 10 -- just one.

I'm sure people can come up with huge lists of complaints against these two. But they seem to have come from a time when I didn't want every single republican to be immediately disintegrated.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arne_Carlson

...on October 23, 2008, he endorsed Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.

Following the July 1, 2011, shutdown of the state government after Governor Mark Dayton and state legislative leaders could not agree on a budget, Carlson teamed with Walter Mondale and several other prominent political and business leaders to propose a nonpartisan budget commission.[9]

Carlson and Mondale also teamed to oppose a Voter ID amendment to the state constitution in the 2012 election.[10] The amendment was defeated.

Glad you made me look cause he had dropped his GOP affiliation for Ind but Wikipedia says he is back with them. Only Pub I ever voted for. His ex-wife Barbara a DFL Feminist had her own radio show. It was entertaining.
