I dont know who I hate more, the snake-oil salesmen who peddle political and scientific poison...

or the willing IDIOTS who buy that poison and drink it down, in the mistaken faith that says it's life-saving Holy Water.
It's like giving a kitchen knife to somebody who broke into your house, because he said "no worries, I'm just here to protect you from the Monster under your bed."

It's cold I know, but if they all just shot themselves in the skull they will be just as dead as when the Planet kills ALL of us, but at least the REST of us will still be here to solve this problem without having to placate this ridiculous, juvenile fear that they seem so resigned to walking around with.

sorry to rant, it just irked me today more than it usually would. Not sure why

(ON EDIT) A lot of this kinds of Corporate Propaganda goes away the moment political campaign money comes from We The People, instead of from American's for Prosperity....to paraphrase---Publicly-Funded elections now, Publicly-Funded elections Tomorrow, Publicly-Funded elections FOREVER.

I just assume there is at least one aspect of everyone that is not to my liking. So I always have reason to hate them. Saves me a lot of time and frustration by not having to specify a reason for each person.

I just assume that there is at least one laudable aspect in everyone, even if I never see it. So I always have a reason not to judge them as a whole person, but simply deal with the dysfunction in front of me.

I guess I should have included the sarcasm tag.

Having to decide "who I hate more" takes just way too much energy. And hating someone just because they are totally wrong on a specific issue is counterproductive.

Being able to hunt for and find at least one laudable aspect of an individual that you can appreciate is sometimes a challenge. But it is also what allows interactions to take place that otherwise would not have happened. And for that individual, to have someone show appreciation despite other failings, may be life-changing.

I know you'll have a great day, and so will I.
